Stephanie DeMichele

After spending many years in K-12 and post-graduate education, Stephanie decided it was time to shift gears.  Her varied experience and talent in curriculum design brought her to Mulsanne, where she assists clients with their professional development needs. In addition to crafting clients’ education strategies, plans, and courseware, she is also a key resource in the design and development of Mulsanne Academy’s skill-building seminar offerings.  She firmly believes that teaching is less about being the “sage on the stage” and more about being the “guide on the side.”  As such, Stephanie is most comfortable operating in a coaching capacity, helping others realize, own, and apply their inherent talents.

Recognizing that the model for teaching adopted back in the Industrial Revolution was still being applied in 21st-century classrooms, Stephanie researched and introduced innovative learning opportunities to her own curriculum: collaborative and problem-based learning, Web 2.0 application, authentic assessments, and technology integration.  Her success at designing and developing innovative curriculum content brought her to the attention of other schools and administrators, which in turn led to her off-track career in educational technology consulting, teacher coaching, and professional development workshops.

Stephanie’s background in teaching and educational consulting brings a fresh perspective to the competitive world of business.  She received both her B.A. and M.A. from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
